Thanks Anand. Coaches need to support all functions as needed rather than necessarily have a "role" as a world of its own as coaches.

Coaching on the job is more needed while the old system of on-the-job-training an executive over as much as a year or two has been dropped. Do we want coaches to function as mentors or trainers?

Leadership and performance coaching has long been a necessity for those who wish to continually enhance their leadership skill set. Fortunately in recent time’s leadership behavioral coaching has gotten the attention it deserves however, not without its obstacles. There are many “coaches” in the industry today that claim to incorporate results based methodologies, yet have difficulty producing results.

It is therefore critically important for trusted and proven Leadership Behavioral Coaches to distinguish our unique ability to harness an individual’s internal capacity for growth, resulting in consistent and profitable behavioral enhancements that not only benefit the organization but more importantly the individual.

I look forward to being a contributor to the productive discussions within the group. Thank you for including me.

I am happy to be a part of this network. Over the past 7+ years I have evaluated application, impact and ROI of leadership coaching initiatives and have published / presented our work with clients such as Nortel Networks, Booz Allen Hamilton, Caterpillar, State Farm, and others. So, think of me if you have questions regarding the business impact of coaching.
