Emotional Intelligence

Emotional Intelligence is the latest buzz in training and development. Emotional Intelligence is increasingly relevant to organizational development and developing people, because the EQ principles provide a new way to understand and assess people's behaviors, management styles, attitudes, interpersonal skills, and potential. Emotional Intelligence is an important consideration in human resources planning, job profiling, recruitment interviewing and selection, management development, customer relations and customer service, and more.

Emotional intelligence matters twice as much as technical and analytic skills combined. What connection does it have to experiential, social and emotional learning? And why is it so important to the individual as well as the organization?

We would like your thoughts on this subject. Let us explore EQ and the many benefits of it practice. Share your experiences, thoughts and pose your questions.

Have a great week everyone
